Although we missed the cherry blossom we still get to see some gorgeous flowers like these Irises at the castle gardens.
Next stop the Omicho market for sushi (complete with two tier conveyor belt - the bottom one for mugs and soy dishes). We had a set plate of 10 different nigiri for 1000 yen and one dish of fatty tuna for 850 yen. Massive difference in price but we'll worth it.
We also saw the three geisha districts and the samurai area. A lovely day out.
